Flying Lotus: Damn What More Can I Say
So over the past week or two, I have been searching for some new and different music to catch my ear. Listening to Some Blu & Exile (New West Coast Freshness if you don't know, but you should so stop sleeping) I stumbled upon a guy from California named "FLYING LOTUS"
He produced the track below for Blu for one of Blu's mixtapes.
Flying Lotus has his own very unique sound that may not latch onto to you the first time around, but after the second, third, and maybe even fourth, you may find that your neck is broken due to the dopeness of his tracks.
If you watch [adult swim] on a regular basis you may have heard the track below which is very chill and bass heavy.
So If you like what you hear, check him out because this may be the future of hip hop and global music.

Mitsuwa
Around 2 o'clock today, I went to the Mitsuwa Japanese Marketplace in Torrance with Simon and Omar. Simon and I relived our Japan tour experience by eating Curry with pork cutlets. Omar devoured beef, rice, miso soup, and anything else put in front of him.
If you haven't been to Mitsuwa you should go.

Seeing Sounds = Genius
So I just picked up "Seeing Sounds" after my easy chemistry final today. All I have to say is... YOU NEED TO GO GET THIS ALBUM RIGHT NOW, by any means!!!!! No, but seriously go to Bestbuy or download it from iTunes. The album as a whole is legit.

The Green Album
So who knew that Biggie Smalls would ever collaborate with Al Green. Well Omer Saar made it a reality on his new work, The Green Album. The Green Album is a collection of Al Green songs mixed with both modern day and old school hip hop. Personally, I think it is very unique and I believe long awaited. Since I am a hip hop sample junkie, I believe this is another step in music and think that everyone who listens to hip hop and anything that utilizes "sampling" needs to learn and appreciate the music that came before.

SAT Subject TESTS/FINALS
In this final week of being a Junior at Loyola High School, SAT Subject Tests and Finals have become the bane of the my existence, which makes summer look so far away. But really, after June 7th (Saturday)and the 12th, summer is open season!
So to all those people dreading standardized testing and finals, just tell yourself that "SAT's need to go to Hell" and that you will own anything put in front of you. I feel your pain, so let's just get it done.
