Shwayze= the new guy for summer 08.

At first I was very skeptical about who this guy was and what type of music he was making. But as the saying goes, "Never judge a book by its cover"

Shwayze brings a new vibe to the 08 summer scene. With the acoustic guitar and hip hop accompaniment, he is like a combination of the Beastie Boys and N.E.R.D

Although he is a new hit, he really doesn't get his shit straight for life. He almost went to jail for almost missing a court date for faking id production. WTF!!!

His two songs right now are Buzzin' and Corona & Lime.

Let's see what else he can do to change the scene.

Heath Ledger played the shit out of the Joker. This is hands down the best movie of 08'. The Dark Knight Kicks ass on all levels.

Like Nas' new album that dropped today, this post today is all or nothing. I personally do not want to pick up Nas' album. Truthfully, I think Nas has fallen off. What happened to the 90's prophet from Queensbridge, who blessed the 10 beats with his words?

I mean I bought "Hip Hop Is Dead" and it was pretty good. But all the controversy around his new joints and their subject matter, just doesn't appeal to me. I want to hear good music with smart and witty rhymes, not bashes on the media and the news.

We all know that Nas has never had the dopest beats in his career, but I believe he has fallen to an all new low. Polow Da Don, DJ Toomp, DJ Green Lantern??? What happened to DJ Premier, Pete Rock, The Alchemist?

Nas, get it together, or hip hop is truly dead.
